Fall Soccer

 

Soccer started this Fall, and I dove into the action coaching again. I really enjoy running around with the kids. Though I try to teach them the objective of the game, for the most part if I can get them to run around for 45 minutes or more I consider it a success. I love the above picture as it is one of the few where everyone is running with a ball. Usually one kid is distracted by a butterfly, another is off doing somersaults, Adrianna is tackling her friend Harrison, and well you get the picture.

More Soccer

Adrianna does pretty well playing Soccer, she has kicked the ball several times during the games and she is so proud when she does that she usually forgets to keep on going. I have an absolute blast with the kids, they have so much energy and it is just amazing to see how much fun they are having.

First Soccer Match

We played our first soccer match yesterday, and it was a huge success!! The kids braved the frigid temperatures and had a great time. I was amazed at how everything seemed to click for them once we had a lined field, uniforms, and a referee. I had a great time running around and cheering everyone on. I have to say everyone including Adrianna gave it their best effort and played hard even when it started to get dark. Soccer Form

Adrianna and I went to the park to kick the ball around. I was quite impressed with the natural form she showed in these pictures. She even throws the ball correctly, both feet on the ground, both hands on the ball, all the way behind the head. She is a natural!! Click here to view the all the pictures.
